- Booking appointments, following Clinician triage
- Ascertaining if any additional womens health needs are identified, prior to attendance
- Supporting the clinical lead with organising efficient day-to day running of the Women's Health Hub
- Booking and planning clinic lists
- Chaperoning for clinical procedures, such as, coil fittings
- Measuring and recording blood pressures
- Measuring and recording heights and weight
- Health promotion; including, supporting patients with lifestyle advice and referral to other professionals / services, where need is identified
- Liaising with practice health care professionals, reception and triage teams, where required
- Answering patient queries
- Managing waiting lists
- Managing stock
- Running EMIS searches
- Use of Excel programme to support claims
- Working closely with the Clinical Lead of the Women's Health Hub (WHH) to facilitate advancement & promotion of the services
- Support clinical leads with projectS

- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) inc. Maths and English grade C
- Previous experience of working in Healthcare
- Competent in using clinical systems (EMIS)
- Knowledge and experience of general administration processes, record keeping.
- IT literacy including, excel and data entry
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team
- The ability to respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality whenever necessary.
- The ability to be patient, caring, calm and empathetic
- Good organisational skills; Confident and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to respond flexibly to the demands of the post
- The ability to work as a member of a team
- The ability to work under direction, meeting deadlines as required.
- Show a capacity to work alone and the ability to keep calm under pressure

- Experience in, blood pressure checks, measuring heights and weight, or wiling to learn
- Experience in venepuncture (training can be given)
- Ability to make some objective and subjective patient assessment
- Be able to give information to patients regarding care pathways
- Have knowledge and understanding of adult and child safeguarding procedures; recognising risk and when / how to raise concerns
- Be familiar with other local services and organisations, within womens health, external services and links to general health
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) inc. Maths and English grade C
- Previous experience of working in Healthcare
