Agency: Teaching PersonnelTeaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to work in a supportive Mainstream Primary School located in London W12 (Shepherd’s Bush area). This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest or background in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and/or challenging behaviour.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with autism and/or behavioural needs
- Assist in the implementation of individual behaviour plans and learning programmes
- Support the class teacher in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress in line with school policies
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and challenging behaviour, in any setting (schools, care, youth services, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
