Interaction EngineeringWelder / FabricatorHoughton RegisOur client, a well-established engineering and fabrication company, is looking to recruit a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in MIG and TIG welding, who is confident working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out MIG and TIG welding on various materialsReading and interpreting engineering drawings to fabricate bespoke componentsWorking independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlinesAssisting with prototype builds and custom fabrications based on client specificationsProblem-solving and working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environmentOperating fabrication machinery including press brakes and guillotinesPerforming general workshop tasks such as drilling and tappingOccasional site work as requiredCandidate Requirements:Proven experience in a fabrication workshop environmentStrong welding skills across multiple materials and techniquesAbility to fabricate accurately from technical drawingsComfortable working on one-off projects and adapting to changing customer needsSite work experience is highly advantageousA proactive, team-oriented approach with strong attention to detailThis role would suit an experienced Welder/Fabricator who enjoys varied, hands-on work and is looking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative team.INDNH
