  • Prior experience in a setting with children or young people.
  • A valid DBS check or the willingness to obtain one.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Core Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher.
  • Ensure students are engaged with and completing the assigned work.
  • Uphold the school's behaviour policy consistently and fairly.
  • Provide basic academic support and answer student questions.
  • Foster a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
  • Take the class register accurately.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
  • Provide detailed feedback to the returning teacher.
