
Employment Managing Associate

- Advising employers on workplace issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring, and redundancies
- Leading on complex Employment Tribunal claims, predominantly acting for Respondents
- Providing employment law support on TUPE matters, corporate deals, outsourcing contracts, and client training
- Enforcing post-termination restrictive covenants
- Drafting contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements, and other employment-related documentation
- Utilising existing experience in advising large corporates, including liaising with board-level HR, general counsel, and in-house employment counsel
- Collaborating with Partners and senior team members on business development strategies
- Supervising and supporting junior lawyers, including Associates, Trainees, and Paralegals
- Extensive experience across all areas of employment law, particularly advising large corporate clients
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
- A client-focused approach with the ability to nurture and maintain long-standing client relationships
- Proven experience in supervising and managing junior team members
- Ambition and drive to succeed as a senior member of the team, with a commitment to developing the firm's offering both locally and nationally
- Business reorganisations, redundancies, and advice on sensitive reputational issues
- Boardroom support on corporate governance and reputational matters
- Employment Tribunal representation, internal investigations, and employee consultation
- Expertise in TUPE and outsourcing
- Employment law training and strategic support on business-as-usual matters
