Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (50 hours per week, including paid breaks)Our client is currently looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead their accident repair centre in Stoke-on-Trent. This role would suit a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in bodyshop or accident repair centre management.Key Responsibilities as a Bodyshop Manager
- Open the workshop and ensure the team and equipment are ready for the 7:00am start
- Lead daily team briefings to communicate targets, allocate workloads, and address challenges
- Maintain proper use of equipment, tools, and uniforms to support staff safety and comfort
- Liaise with the Regional Manager regarding workflow, vehicle updates, and potential issues
- Ensure timely and accurate customer updates using internal systems
- Order parts in advance to ensure a smooth repair process
- Manage the volume of work coming in and currently being handled by the site
- Ensure job documentation is complete, including 10-stage repair images
- Monitor and maintain wet and dry stock levels
- Maintain high standards of quality control across all repair stages
- Previous experience in a similar bodyshop management or accident repair leadership role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and workshop operations
- Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Confident using IT systems and workshop management software
- A proactive and supportive management style
- Competitive salary up to £71,500 OTE
