We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery- Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.Want to be a part of it?What will you be doing?Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Senior Civils Estimator to work on our new & existing frameworks within the Northern Business Unit.You will be part of the up-front team, reporting through to the regional Managing Estimator, responsible for delivering accurate and timely estimates across a mix of clean & wastewater projects involving capital delivery works, frameworks and competitive tenders.You will provide estimating support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management and governance to ensure where possible supplier/subcontractor terms are back to back with the client requirements and if not to impact assess any deviationsWhat you'll bring
  • Experience within the water industry is essential, preferably within both water and wastewater, infra and non-infra environments, but also advantageous to have other utility estimating experience
  • Preferably experience of delivering water and/or wastewater projects
  • Commercial and contractual knowledge and understanding of various forms of NEC Contracts (Options A to E)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as excel, word, powerpoint etc
  • Knowledge of estimating software packages such as Conquest, Causeway, Candy etc
  • Full UK driving licence
