- Managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to understand procurement needs
- Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers
- Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and trends in the defence sector
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Analysing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Preparing reports and documentation related to procurement activities
- Experience in procurement management, preferably within the defence industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Understanding of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
