Built around user needs, collaboration, and data-led decision-making, the service enables smarter procurement, stronger supplier relationships, and a more resilient digital infrastructure.As Digital Procurement & Contract Officer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we design, procure, and manage digital services. You will work closely with colleagues across Digital Services and Procurement to:
Embed outcome-based procurement approaches
Ensure robust contract management
Maintain operational resilience across our digital supply chain

Lead the shift to outcome-based procurement focused on user needs.
Ensure suppliers meet service quality, availability, and innovation standards.
Introduce SLAs and OLAs to promote governance and service integration.
Act as a key liaison between Digital Services and Procurement teams.
Advise on emerging digital products and services.
Support strategic sourcing and contract management for digital initiatives.
Embed corporate approaches to supplier relationship management.
Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Build strong partnerships with senior officers and stakeholders.
What We're Looking ForQualifications & Experience:
Relevant degree or professional qualification.
Experience in digital asset and license management.
Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
Experience in public sector procurement and contract management.
Certification in procurement/contract management (desirable).
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement regulations.
Understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies.
Ability to lead and motivate teams.
Knowledge of cybersecurity risks in procurement.
