Join us as an Bid Coordinator and make an invaluable contribution to our Food Safety & Biosecurity!As a Bid Coordinator at Fera , you’ll support and coordinate critical bid and tenders processes. Your role is central to shaping compelling bids, working with a dynamic sales team, and our science community, ensuring standout client responses that drive our business forward and have real world impact.What you’ll do:
  • Support and Coordinate the bid process ensuring strict compliance adherence
  • Identify daily tender opportunities to pursuit planning to tender response and handover to operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all business functions to ensure timely bid management and deliverables.
  • Creating, filling, and compiling bid documents according to client requirements
  • Help to support a high-quality bid library and manage administrative tasks such as client portals and governance.
  • Develop winning strategies and value propositions with sales teams and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Work with the senior bid manager to team to produce visually engaging and client-specific submissions.
What you bring:
  • Experience is bid coordination/ administration is essential, preferably within public sector or large technical projects.
  • Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Teams, and PowerPoint; knowledge of AI-driven tools is a plus.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for producing market-leading outcomes.
  • Experience in target sectors such as Science or Research and Development Sectors, including Agriculture or Food Safety would be highly desirable.
