We're opening a new Dental Education Practice in Plymouth City Centre later this year, and were looking for Dental Nurses to join our team!Initially working in our Plymouth Dental Education Facilities in Derriford and Devonport for training purposes, you will transfer to our new Dental Education Practice (DEP) in Plymouth City Centre when this opens in Autumn 2025. The DEP will provide an innovative model of care comprising urgent and stabilisation dental care, and general and specialist dentistry delivered alongside placements for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as trainees undertaking dental foundation training. Dental Nurses are required to support with undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as qualified Clinicians.Our Dental Nurse roles have a salary range of £27,855 - £31,199. Salaries are pro rata for staff working less than full time. We have multiple opportunities available.Main duties of the job
  • Effective and efficient engagement with all processes required to support the provision of clinical care
  • Effective communication skills to maximise the efficiency of the clinics
  • Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Equality and Diversity regulations for staff, students and patients
  • Ensure all clinicians and students are adhering to policies, protocols and processes
  • Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
