MOT Technician required in Newark
  • Basic Salary: £32,000 , OTE: £36,000+
  • 5 Day work week
  • Working Hours : 42.5 Hour week
  • Saturdays (1 in 2) - with a day off in the week
I'm looking for a skilled vehicle technician who's also qualified to carry out MOTs to join a busy, well-established garage with a strong reputation for quality and service. Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out MOT testing in line with VOSA regulations.
  • Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs to cars.
  • Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Replace worn or defective parts as needed.
  • Assist with tyre fitting and repairs when required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Valid MOT Tester Certificate Essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Level 2 with MOT considered)
  • At least 4 years' experience in servicing and repairing cars.
  • Strong understanding of MOT testing standards.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and carry out high-quality repairs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
