Salary Dependent on ExperienceOur long-established automotive Client in Newark is seeking a skilled *Body Repair Technician * to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.The RoleThe key duties performed by the *Body Repair Technician * will include, but not be limited to:
  • Replacing damaged bodywork components
  • Refitting and repairing GRP and aluminium panels
  • Rebuilding wooden cabinets and internal structures
  • Carrying out repairs
  • Working to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Diagnosing issues
The CandidateThe successful Body Repair Technician will be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience in a Bodyshop environment within the automotive industry
  • Commercial vehicle bodywork
  • Motorhome or caravan repair / manufacturing knowledge or experience
  • Understanding of materials including GRP, aluminium and timber
  • Proficiency in hand and power tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Ideally, you will possess relevant NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications.The BenefitsAs a Body Repair Technician you will receive the following benefits:
