Supply Desk is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools across Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Make a real impact by helping students engage with lessons and thrive in a supportive and positive learning environment.About the Role:
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and encouraging student engagement with the curriculum
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students requiring additional help
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, organised, and positive learning environment
  • Observe and monitor student progress, actively participating in classroom activities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support both academic progress and student wellbeing
The ideal candidate will:
  • Proven experience working with secondary school-aged students
  • Patient, empathetic, and genuinely committed to supporting student learning and development
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the capacity to support a variety of classroom settings and teaching styles
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
