Join our team at Academics, where we have a rewarding position open for a dedicated Teaching Assistant.We're looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN at a secondary school in Rickmansworth. Your role will focus on empowering students to achieve their best by providing personalized support in both one-on-one and small group settings.Role Overview:
- Support students with a variety of special educational needs, including learning challenges, to aid in both their academic and personal development.
- Offer tailored one-on-one assistance as well as small group interventions for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students in the classroom.
- Adjust learning resources and instructional techniques to suit individual student requirements, fostering confidence and independence.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK secondary school environment.
- Experience working with students with SEN and learning difficulties.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply for one).
- Confidence in a classroom setting across KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and an encouraging outlook.
