
Director, Accounting & Reporting

- Oversee core accounting functions including month-end close, payroll, cash management, equity administration, and travel & expense (T&E) management.
- Supervise accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and expense tracking.
- Manage insurance renewals and relationships with brokers.
- Administer and optimize key accounting systems, ensuring accuracy, automation, and scalability.
- Lead the technical accounting review of complex, non-routine transactions, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Provide accounting expertise on areas including stock-based compensation, capitalized internal use software, and capitalized commissions.
- Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to support financial integrity.
- Own internal financial reporting to management and partner with FP&A to deliver insights.
- Support investor reporting requirements and board-level financial presentations.
- Lead preparation and execution of financial and statutory audits, ensuring smooth coordination with external auditors.
- A Proven Accounting Experience: 12+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, with public accounting and SaaS industry experience strongly preferred. CPA required.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting standards, and technical accounting for complex transactions.
- Operational Leadership: Skilled in managing full-cycle accounting operations with attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy.
