As a growing organisation with multiple companies within our group and private equity backing, our finance team is constantly engaged with diverse and stimulating tasks and the autonomy and exposure you will get is unparalleled.We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our brilliant team.What will you be doing?As a Management Accountant for BES Group, you will report in to the Commercial Finance Team and prepare management accounts for the BES Group divisions. You’ll complete reporting on both gross profit and overhead performance and conduct analysis to support both the executive team and the operational managing directors. The scope of this role will grow over time as you develop your skills and experience.You will:
Produce and be responsible for a variety of gross profit and overhead P&L cost centres and produce their monthly management accounts
Review and analyse both revenue and costs to support accuracy of accounts, including providing accurate commentary and investigation into variances
Post consolidated invoice journals/prepayments/accruals and various other month end journals
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
Budgeting, forecasting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and systems
Complete VAT returns
Attend monthly meetings with the Exec team and P&L owners to discuss performance

To join our team, you will need:
Part Qualified/ Qualified
Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics preferred
Experience in accounting for stock
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Advanced Excel skills
Attention to detail and enthusiasm to challenge and improve processes.
Willingness to adapt
Desire to learn new technical and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues.
Strong organisation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workloads.
