
International Mobility Consultant (80-100%)

- Manage payroll compliance of incentive compensation for employees on international assignments and international local transfers
- Collaborate with global tax advisors and payrolls to address cross-border complexities (e.g. cross-border taxation, split payroll) and ensure accurate, compliant reporting of incentive compensation across all relevant jurisdictions
- Design and drive continuous improvement of processes and tools, taking responsibility for their maintenance and effectiveness
- Provide expert consultation to HR business partners and senior leadership on complex international mobility matters
- Manage international assignments from initiation to completion, serving as the primary point of contact for employees and business stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with immigration, tax, and social security regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Analyse cost projections and prepare assignment packages that balance employee experience with cost efficiency
- Coordinate with vendors including relocation companies, tax providers, and immigration specialists to deliver seamless mobility services
- Lead or contribute to key projects, e.g. short term business visitor compliance, international teleworking
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to global mobility challenges
- Specific advisory or in-house experience with payroll compliance for cross-border recurring and/or incentive compensation
- Strong preference for individuals with experience in Big 4 Global Mobility Services team (specifically global incentive compensation and/or central account management and advisory) or in-house International Mobility team (with specific responsibilities for cross-border incentive compensation)
- Strong or significant experience in international mobility or global HR
- Solid technical knowledge of international tax, payroll and social security
- Comprehensive knowledge of global mobility practices and international tax implications for expatriate assignments
- Strong analytical skills and affinity for data
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable using emerging technologies (such as AI tools) to improve efficiency and collaboration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex mobility concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Understanding of income tax and payroll legislation regarding incentive compensation across multiple jurisdictions, ideally including at least two of the following: the United States, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
- Experience with Equus AssignmentPro
