Start: Immediate interviews availableMy Glasgow based client is looking for a Planner to support their growth on a permanent basis.My client is a thriving company specialising in commercial refurbishment projects and selective newbuilds.About the Role
Reporting to the Bid Manager and Construction Manager, this is a key role in ensuring accuracy and consistency in project planning and progress tracking. You'll work across both pre-construction and live sites, producing robust programmes for tenders and updating them as projects progress.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare master programmes for all tenders using Microsoft Project.
- Visit live sites to update programmes and provide accurate progress reports to the Construction Manager.
- Ensure consistency between planning data and site-level reporting.
- Support the bid process with detailed and realistic programmes.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to identify risks and mitigate delays.
- Minimum of 3 years' planning experience in construction OR a Project Manager with proven experience programming projects in your current role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, realistic programmes.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work across multiple projects.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
