An opportunity has arisen within our reception team for one full time or two part time team players with a 'can do' attitude who are looking to work in a busy but demanding environment.We are looking for a team players that have commitment and hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The majority of the work will be telephone based which requires a skill set to efficiently deal with high call volumes whilst maintaining a pleasant and caring manner.The right applicants would also be providing general administrative assistance to our team of clinicians. The successful applicants should have a good understanding of IT and administration.Experience of working in a GP surgery or medical environment would be helpful but more importantly we are looking for enthusiasm, resilience and the ability to project a positive and friendly image to patients and others arriving at the Practice.Main duties of the jobTo provide excellent patient service, being the first point of contact for our patients and external organisations both at the front desk and over the telephone.To deal with general enquiries and make new and follow-up appointments. Process prescriptions and general administrative duties involved within the office whilst assisting the team.To communicate test results and be aware of and follow practice policies and procedures and support the clinical team as required.To be flexible and support The Practice Manager, Team Leads and co-workers in the day-to-day running of the office and the Practice.About usWe are a busy team comprising of GP Partners, Salaried Doctors, an ANP, Nurses, Administrators and Reception team who work together to provide a good standard of care to our patients.
