Are you an experienced Adult's Social Worker?Are you passionate about making a difference to a vulnerable person's life?Yes?Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Knowsley Council's Generic Adults team. This is a full time role, offering a fantastic pay rate of between £30- £35 per hour, DOE.Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a quality service through strength based assessment, taking into account maximising independence.
  • Have some experience of Care Act Assessment, and support planning, be able to confidently complete capacity and best interests assessments as well as safeguarding.
  • Must be flexible and support the office duty work.
  • Must be a team player as well as support colleagues when needed.
  • Must provide the positive assessment and planning of individual packages of care for service users and carers.
  • Must provide Social Work to support Service Users and Carers.
  • Must ensure that all work is carried out in line with the appropriate guidelines, policy and procedures.
  • Must promote the independence and well-being of adults of working age and/or older people; to assist social inclusion and valued community presence and to enable the widest possible expression of chosen lifestyle.
Requirements:
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Social Work England registered
  • Enhanced DBS
