As a Social Worker in this team, you'll deliver a child-centred, trauma-informed service focused on support, protection, and long-term positive outcomes. Working closely with families and professionals across health, education, and police, you'll be a key player in creating sustainable change.
You'll contribute to policy, practice, and service improvement, while always keeping the child's voice at the heart of decision-making.๐Ÿ’ผ What This Authority Offers You:

๐Ÿง  What You'll Bring:
We're looking for a compassionate, skilled, and proactive Social Worker who can:
  • Use professional expertise to assess risk, plan interventions, and deliver positive change
  • Build strong relationships with children and families, using strengths-based approaches
  • Navigate multi-agency settings with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Uphold high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and empowerment
โœ… Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
  • 4+ years post-qualified experience in Children's Services
  • Strong understanding of Child Protection legislation
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families
  • Skilled in assessment, mediation, planning, and partnership working
๐Ÿ“ In This Role You Will:
  • Manage a defined caseload of children and families
  • Undertake full risk and needs assessments
  • Develop personalised care and safety plans
  • Contribute to service development and best practice
  • Support unqualified staff and social work students
