As a Social Worker in this team, you'll deliver a child-centred, trauma-informed service focused on support, protection, and long-term positive outcomes. Working closely with families and professionals across health, education, and police, you'll be a key player in creating sustainable change.
You'll contribute to policy, practice, and service improvement, while always keeping the child's voice at the heart of decision-making.💼 What This Authority Offers You:

We're looking for a compassionate, skilled, and proactive Social Worker who can:
- Use professional expertise to assess risk, plan interventions, and deliver positive change
- Build strong relationships with children and families, using strengths-based approaches
- Navigate multi-agency settings with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and empowerment
- Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- 4+ years post-qualified experience in Children's Services
- Strong understanding of Child Protection legislation
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families
- Skilled in assessment, mediation, planning, and partnership working
- Manage a defined caseload of children and families
- Undertake full risk and needs assessments
- Develop personalised care and safety plans
- Contribute to service development and best practice
- Support unqualified staff and social work students
