The role of Technical Compliance Technologist involves ensuring technical risk assessments, validation, traceability, export compliance systems are maintained & improved. Based in Worcestershire, you will support the wider site driving high standards with compliance to customer codes of practice & external standards.
  • Maintaining the HACCP, Allergen, Segregation, Label & Date Coding Risk Assessment system in line with BRCGS and Customer codes of practise to ensure full documentation.
  • Monitor traceability throughout the site, carrying out regular audit with operations and QA, mass balance carried out and results fully communicated. Raise non-conformances for failures identified in traceability ensure route cause analysis and closure of actions to prevent repeat issues.
  • Implement and drive improvements in the traceability system to ensure full compliance to required legal and customer standards.
  • Carry out traceability's for internal and external audits, ensuring training provided for all members of the Technical department to provide cover as required for external audits.
  • Management of notification of change systems and document control
  • Technical maintenance of business manufacturing systems
  • Working with the Technical Process team to ensure Technical compliance for NPD and EPD, contributing to the accuracy of technical risk assessments.
  • Carry out scheduled HACCP process validation tasks for new and existing (annual validations) processes. Ensuring full documentation of validations in the appropriate report format.
  • Maintenance of validation equipment to ensure full working order and calibration status
  • Carry out Technical project work as requested by Technical management team.
  • To manage the internal audits for systems against BRCGS and Customer standards and to carry out internal audits in line with scheduled requirement
  • To manage external service suppliers approval documentation
  • To work as part of the Technical team responsible for export documentation compliance, including management of export vet/ certification officer visits.
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30Growing ManufacturerProgressionYou will come from a QA/Technical background in a food manufacturing environment, along with having the following:
  • A relevant qualification in food science/quality/safety
  • HACCP Level 3 as a minimum
  • Food Safety Level 2 as a minimum
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
