Pay Rate: £33.88 per hour

This is a locum opportunity for a skilled practitioner to join a fast-paced front door service and support vulnerable children and families at the earliest point of need.What You Can Expect:£33.88 per hour pay rate3+ month contract with scope for extensionOffice base in Stoke (ST4) with hybrid working optionsSupportive management team with regular supervisionAccess to modern tools and systems for efficient caseworkDuties and Responsibilities:Undertake S17 and S47 assessmentsRespond to referrals and assess immediate safeguarding concernsWork closely with families and partner agencies to identify support needsAttend strategy meetings and prepare reports for child protection conferencesMaintain accurate records and ensure statutory timescales are metSupport junior staff and contribute to service development where requiredRequirements:Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registrationPost-qualified experience in a Duty and Assessment or similar teamStrong safeguarding, risk analysis and engagement skillsConfident working in a fast-paced environment with a multi-agency focusAbility to start promptly and hit the ground runningThis is a great opportunity to join a responsive and committed team making a real difference in Stoke.
