- Prepare and verify export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, etc.).
- Ensure documents meet customs regulations and country specific import / export requirements
- Coordinate with banks for letters of credit documentations
- Maintain accurate records for audits and legal compliance.
- Arrange bookings with freight forwarders and shipping lines
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure goods are ready for dispatch.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve delays or discrepancies in shipping schedules.
- Serve as the main contact between the company, freight agents, and overseas clients.
- Update customers on shipment status and expected delivery dates.
- Handle inquiries and resolve complaints related to shipment issues.
- Request and compare freight quotations to secure competitive rates.
- Check and approve freight invoices and other shipping-related charges.
- Follow up on payments and ensure all financial documentation is complete.
- Knowledge of export documentation / administration
