- Registered Pharmacist (GPhC)
- Postgraduate qualification relevant to hospital pharmacy practice
- Leadership / Management qualification relevant to the NHS or equivalent management qualification or experience
- Registered Pharmacy non-medical prescriber
- Credentialed for RPS Core Advanced Pharmacist Curriculum
- Significant experience in specialty pharmacy practice
- Experience in delivering clinical education and training
- Experience of leading change management processes
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office & pharmacy applications
- Knowledge of clinical audit / Drug Use Review projects
- Up to date evidence of work towards the pillars and domains of HEE or RPS advanced practice
- Experience in research, work published or presented to conference
- Communication of highly complex information to senior managers, other professionals and patients.
- Able to demonstrate effective management of staff
- Analytical and judgement skills
- Concentration required frequently interrupted with urgent requests
- Acts appropriately in distressing or emotional circumstances
- Organisational awareness
- Ability to forecast & innovate including long term service planning
