  • Level 3 National Certificate in Pharmacy Services that is recognised as part of the new integrated education standards for Pharmacy Technicians or equivalent
  • Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Accredited checking technician (ACPT) certificated by a nationally approved course provider e.g. HEE/UEA (Community based qualifications will be considered on merit and course content)
Knowledge and ExperienceEssential
  • Proven track record in Pharmacy
  • Previous experience in community or hospital pharmacy
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Computer Systems (training available)
  • Knowledge of requirements for maintaining confidentiality and accurate record keeping
Desirable
  • Previous experience of managing and supervising staff

  • Good customer care skills
