- Carry out physical stock counts on daily basis - To control stock movement of Raw Materials, WIP and finished good`s within the site. Support and Drive Waste Management. Deliver key performance targets, safely, effectively and efficiently to meet the required customer and technical standards
- Carry out daily stock checks of all areas across operational areas
- To control stock movement, analyse and report variances,
- Check factory stock for materials that haven't been consumed to production, rectify and report
- Ensure that WIP stock report is up to date and accurate
- Support FIFO stock management by using Innova Expiring Stock report to ensure that older stock is used before going out of date
- Ensure that factory stock is properly labelled ready for factory consumption
- Share information and report`s with other departments as appropriate
- Support delivery of specific projects - Cost Savings, Improvements - Be part of daily drive and governance
- Updating of trackers, logs and daily KPI Metrics
- Support site materials and planning team
- The job holder has a responsibility to maintain a culture of awareness of, and commitment to the highest standards of quality & food safety and as such they must lead by example and report any risks / concerns to Technical immediately
- Report any hazards or machine problems immediately to your manager and support resolution as appropriate
- Accurate stock reports available on demand
- Stock management of WIP to reduce waste
- All labelling of stock is to standard and traceability is intact
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
- Experience of working within a factory environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the ready meals industry
- Knowledge and understanding of factors which affect efficiency e.g. yields, labour costs, waste
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP System`s including SAP and Innova
