- Ensure all food is cooked, prepared, and presented to the required standards and in line with food safety standards
- Lead the Kitchen Team to deliver exceptional food to our guests
- Create recipe sheets and allergen information for all items served before they are made available.
- Oversee the development and delivery of meals in our staff restaurant
- Check stock is at agreed levels, maintain stock rotation, and avoid wastage
- Maintain the Kitchen's target gross profit % through the effective control of food costs, wastage, portion control, and payroll management
- Manage staff rostering, absences and holidays ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet with business demand, whilst at the same time optimising wage costs. Liaise with agencies when needed
- Proven leadership experience in within hospitality
- Strong organisational skills, with experience managing large and diverse teams
- Approachable, hands-on, and passionate about guest experience and team development
- Drive to go above and beyond, in exceeding guest expectations and finding ways to continually improve service.
