What You'll Do
  • Help lead commissioning and contract management activities that improve outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders-from grassroots organisations to statutory bodies-to co-create sustainable services.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on community engagement.
  • Ensure government funding is used effectively and ethically in a complex and evolving landscape.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.Working Pattern:Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Hybrid working - home and office based. Flexibility required to support work within the community, which may occasionally involve some out of hours working during community activities.What We're Looking For:We're looking for someone who:
  • Understands commissioning processes and has experience in contract development and monitoring.
  • Is confident in analysing data, developing strategies, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Has excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Is self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to delivering outstanding public services.
  • Can manage budgets and interpret financial data.
  • Is curious, analytical, and solutions-focused.
  • Holds a qualification in commissioning and contract management.
