Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is part of Morgan Sindall Group plc, a leading UK construction and regeneration group with revenue of over £3 billion.Job descriptionReporting to the commercial manager to provide commercial support and management to the project commercial team, ensuring that all aspects of project contract administration is undertaken in a timely and accurate manner.Key responsibilities
  • Subcontract management and general project commercial actions
  • Management of junior project commercial staff
  • Delivery and accountability for internal and external project commercial targets
  • Engagement with project stakeholders including Client commercial team
RequirementsAccountabilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of data communicated and reported to all stakeholders
  • The highlighting of any current and potential issues to the commercial manager
  • Maintain compliance with approved processes procedures and project executive plans
  • The active contribution to continuous improvement of the functional quality and performance of Quantity Surveying
  • To work in compliance with the Collaborative Management Plan
Qualifications and experience
  • Supervisory/management experience within a project commercial team
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the management of Subcontracts
  • BSc in related subject or equivalent experience
  • Chartered member to a recognised organisation (RICS or CIOB) an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial aspects of civil and infrastructure projects
  • Experience of a Contract Management System (CEMAR etc)
  • Capable of obtaining (or currently holds) UK Nuclear industry clearance
  • Est. 10 – 15 years’ experience) Could manage a small team, whilst reporting into a more senior member for strategic and management guidance
