Salary: Competitive, based on experience and assignment typeAbout the Role:Supply Desk is urgently seeking friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our growing team and work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Watford and nearby Hertfordshire areas – including Bushey, Rickmansworth, Abbots Langley, and Kings Langley.Whether you’re an experienced TA or just starting your career in education, supply work offers a fantastic opportunity to build experience, gain confidence, and make a real impact in the classroom — all with flexible hours that suit your schedule.We have immediate opportunities for daily supply, short-term assignments, and longer-term roles across all age groups and settings.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Supporting pupils in class under the guidance of the teacherAssisting with learning activities and classroom tasksWorking 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra helpHelping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environmentSupporting pupils with additional needs, where requiredPreparing classroom materials and helping with tidying/organising resourcesFollowing school safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety policiesWhat We’re Looking For:Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based or other settings)A genuine passion for supporting learning and developmentA proactive, patient, and flexible attitudeStrong communication and teamwork skillsA current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)Willingness to travel to schools across Watford and surrounding areasBonus if you have:Experience supporting pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs)Relevant TA qualifications or CACHE/NVQ certificationsExperience in primary or secondary settingsWhat We Offer:Flexible work – choose when and where you workOpportunities across a wide range of local schools and age groupsYour own dedicated consultant to support your journeyOngoing CPD and access to training resourcesCompetitive daily ratesPathways to long-term or permanent positionsRefer a Friend & Earn £100!Know someone who’d be a great TA or support staff member?
