The school, rated ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection, offers an excellent environment to gain valuable experience in SEN support while making a lasting impact on students’ lives.The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Support students aged 11–16 with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and moderate learning difficulties.
- Deliver tailored academic and emotional support, working with pupils both 1:1 and in small groups.
- Help students access the curriculum while building their confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN specialists to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Earn up to £650 per week
- Full-time, long-term role (Monday–Friday)
- Ongoing training and development with SEN specialists
- Excellent preparation for careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, SEN Teaching, or Mental Health Support
- Placement starting September 2025, with opportunities for progression
- 2:1 degree or higher (Psychology, Education, or related fields advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Calm, adaptable, and resilient in challenging situations
