Description:SALARY/BANDING: DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEHOURS: UP TO 30 HOURS PER WEEKAn exciting opportunity has arisen at Parkhill Medical Practice for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our practice team. We can offer up to 30 hours per week and are flexible and willing to negotiate days and sessions to the right candidate.Parkhill Medical Practice is a well-established practice, located in Polmont with close links to the M9 motorway to Glasgow/ Edinburgh as well as 5 minutes walking distance from Polmont station. We have a current list size of approximately 12,000 patients.We are a forward thinking practice, committed to delivering high quality, patient centred care. We are an 8-partner practice (7 GP partners and 1 ANP partner) we employ 2 salaried GPs, a part time practice nurse as well as support from the Healthboard with 2 ANPs, pharmacy team, mental health nurse, physios and phlebotomy team. We also have a loyal, skilled administration team who are supportive to all our clinicians. We are a friendly team who work together well to deliver the best possible care for our patients.You must be a registered nurse with experience of working in a Primary Care environment. You will preferably be competent in chronic disease management as well as health promotion and cervical cytology.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
