Description:ANP/PRACTICE NURSE VACANCYFull TimeBankhouse Medical Practice within Airdrie Community Health Centre is a well-established GP surgery with a list size of approximately 6100 patients. The practice has a mix of GP Partner, Non-Clinical Partner, Salaried GP and long term locum GP's, HCA and Practice Manager and an experienced admin team. Additional services attached to the practice include a Community Link Worker, Community Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist and Pharmacist.A vacancy has arisen for a full time (37.5 hrs per week)ANP/ Practice Nurse to join our valued, supportive and friendly practice team. The ideal candidate should have current NMC registration and ideally have Primary Care Nursing experience. They will have experience in Chronic Disease Management in particular the management of diabetes, respiratory disease, hypertensive disease, CKD, cervical cytology and women's health including contraception and hormone replacement therapy. Other duties will include phlebotomy and health promotion.Applicants should be able to work autonomously and be committed to continued professional development along with being a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Independent prescribing qualification would be very advantageous.
