Contract role, Local Authority Transport ServicesWe are recruiting for experienced Local Authority Transport Officer in Leicestershire
Responsibilities:
- Plan and procure passenger transport services using both manual and ICT systems.
- Support efficiency reviews, including season ticket purchases and fare-paying passenger transport.
- Liaise with internal fleet management and external contractors to ensure compliance with current standards.
- Provide guidance on the use and maintenance of specialist passenger transport equipment.
- Ensure all contracted vehicles are appropriately licensed and insured.
- Maintain accurate records and transport databases
- You will need proven experience in transport planning.
