The role will oversee a range of projects across the Kent region. With a recent turnover of over £150 million and a strong track record of successful operations in the UK, this position plays a crucial part in the company's continued growth and success.Reporting directly to the Group HSEQ Director, this position will play a central role in embedding a culture of compliance, performance excellence, and audit readiness across all parts of the organisation.Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager will include:
  • Conducting monthly scored QA audits across all sites and business units and ensuring non-conformances are closed out promptly.
  • Liaising with third-party certification bodies and maintaining external accreditations and certifications.
  • Leading the internal audit programme across multiple ISO standards (ISO 14001, 90011, 50001, 27001 & 45001).
  • Advising project teams and operational managers on QA and compliance matters across construction, sustainability, training, transport, and health & safety.
The successful Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager have:
  • Proven experience in a similar QA or compliance management role, ideally within construction or housebuilding.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (particularly ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001) and experience managing audit programmes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and IT skills, including experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications.
