- Lead and oversee all civil and electrical installation activities on major grid connection solar projects, including up to 132kV.
- Plan daily work schedules, track KPIs, manage team rosters, and maintain uncompromising safety standards.
- Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support the commercial team with budget reporting, cost control, and forecasting.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to uphold safety and quality.
- Act as the on-site point of contact, engaging with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and landowners.
- Ensure all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Full and valid UK driving licence
- SMSTS and First Aid at Work certifications
- CSCS Black Card
- Proven experience in site management for civil/electrical infrastructure
- Strong Health, Safety & Environmental awareness
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings
- Experience with Electrical Isolation (LOTO) procedures (LV & HV)
- Electrical or HV qualifications
- Civil/construction qualifications
- Experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar or battery storage)
- Knowledge of commercial contracts and budget management
- Hands-on and able to lead a dynamic site team
- Highly organised, with excellent communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable managing multiple contractors and stakeholders
- Committed to safety, quality, and driving results
- Local to Nottingham or able to travel easily to site, with flexibility for occasional early starts, extended days, or occasional weekends
