- Calculate global commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission / MBO plan provisions
- Support the activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas
- Work cross-functionally with other departments, especially Finance & Accounting, to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of pay amounts and accounting treatment
- With each new quota period, participate in rolling out new plans, including plan and systems design, training, and updating policies and processes
- Generate internal documentation on compensation plans, reporting guidelines and compensation-related FAQs and manage employee inquiries
- Build and maintain actionable and insightful analytics around sales compensation to help us better focus our resources on what matters most
- Develop expertise and optimise the company's new commission management system (CaptivateIQ)
- Proactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements
- Support broader Revenue Operations & Accounting team initiatives, such as the automation of ASC 340 calculations
- Maintain process and policy documentation that supports revenue operations and accounting
- Maintain quality assurance measures to prevent and detect possible errors and to strengthen internal controls
- Assist with annual financial audits, as needed
- 3+ years of strong analytical experience in sales compensation, financial planning, business analysis, or sales operations preferred; a plus if in a B2B software company
- Experience implementing and/or administering ICM tool (preferably CaptivateIQ)
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts (journal entries, accruals etc)
- Salesforce.com experience is preferred
- Excel skills are essential; an advanced skill set preferred, but will accept a working knowledge with a high aptitude for mastery
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
