Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time / Part-timeAre you an enthusiastic Science Teacher eager to inspire curiosity and understanding in young learners?GSL Education are currently seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Science Teacher to join schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers to deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages and promote scientific thinking.As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons covering biology, chemistry, and physics, helping students develop analytical and investigative skills.Responsibilities as a Science Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-compliant Science lessons across Key Stages.
  • Foster a love of science through practical experiments and interactive teaching methods.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum.
Requirements for Science Teacher:
  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Specialism in Science or related discipline.
  • Recent experience teaching Science in UK schools is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
