This role is perfect for someone who can ignite curiosity and foster a love for science across all disciplines—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Key Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across Key Stages.
  • Inspire students to explore scientific concepts and develop analytical thinking.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices.
Requirements for the Science Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and challenge students.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
