- Provide site security, including access and egress control.
- Response to all incidents.
- Maintain all security equipment and any other physical security equipment used on site.
- Conduct patrols.
- Understand and be able to carry out the role required in emergency situations as directed by the customer.
- Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and vandalised.
- Ensure keys are handled in accordance with procedures [when covering reception or where keys are issued]
- Ensure full compliance with site AI's and RA's
- Respond to requests for assistance.
- Ensuring common areas are tidy and clean
- Be conversant with the incident and evacuation procedures and recommend changes to Mitie management if any procedures are deemed to be in need of change.
- Knowledge of ISA, and compliance with the procedures.
- Manage and apply visitor access control procedures
- To act as the first point of contact for staff and visitors.
- To provide a professional and welcoming approach to all persons entering site
- To provide a high level of customer care
- Ensure emergency escape routes are kept free from obstruction.
- Respond to Fire and Emergency incidents as described in the Assignment Instructions.
- Record and report to Mitie management staff all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
- Enforce health and safety procedures.
- Respond to calls to first aid and administer treatment or summon medical help as appropriate.
- Complete appropriate paperwork in relation to incidents

IT literacy to include excellent outlook, word and excel (or similar) skills
Fully conversant with SIA/DPA/CCTV legislation
Articulate, persuasive and assertive
Knowledge of BS7499 and BS7858
