- Personal Care Support – Assisting with washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
- Mobility & Physical Assistance – Helping individuals move safely and using mobility aids appropriately.
- Companionship & Emotional Support – Providing emotional care, encouraging well-being, and engaging in social or leisure activities.
- End-of-Life Care – Offering sensitive and respectful support to those at the end of life.
- Daily Household Tasks – Supporting with tasks such as changing beds, laundry, and basic cleaning.
- Monitoring & Reporting – Observing changes in health or well-being and reporting concerns to management.
- Care Planning & Record Keeping – Following care plans, updating notes, and participating in reviews and training.
- Promoting Independence & Safety – Encouraging independence and helping manage risks safely.
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle (essential for community visits).
- A caring and empathetic attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and respond effectively.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, including attending training and professional development.
- Confidence working alone and as part of a team.
- Awareness of or willingness to learn about safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional standards.
