We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic Maintenance Supervisor to join our award winning Regional Facilities team. You will be required to fully control and participate in the day-to-day maintenance requirements across our office, retail showrooms and aftersales operations, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, in the right way, in a timely fashion and to the correct standards.You will be responsible for your team of Maintenance Assistances, who you will need to assist, support and advise, issuing them their jobs, following through and inspecting on completion. You will need to closely liaise with and build close working relationships with a number of sub-contractors and the Hendy site teams.You will be required to work closely with and be in constant communication with your Regional Facilities Manager ensuring he is kept fully informed of all aspects of the team, the maintenance and the project work carried out.This role will cover Kent, Surrey and Sussex and surrounding areas, however the base location of the role is flexible, and the role will have access to a service van as well as specialist tools to be provided.The Opportunity:
  • To Manage the Hendy Maintenance Ticket System – Work requests from the Hendy site teams
  • To oversee and carry out any maintenance works reasonably requested on Hendy properties this will include general site maintenance and repair, including decoration, plumbing, gardening, carpentry, some electrical work and groundworks.
  • To monitor, assess and prioritise any maintenance works that may need attention on a Hendy site, advising informing and working with the Regional Facilities Manager to schedule this work .
  • To schedule and oversee a pre-agreed program of PPM on all Hendy Properties.
  • To be involved in the planning and practical implementation of site improvement project
  • From time-to-time you will also be involved in showroom, workshop, office and site refurbishments
  • You will be required to use your own initiative and problem solving skills when approaching any of the above.
About You:
  • A Proven track record with leading a team to success
  • A Knowledge of site maintenance and repair including plumbing, gardening, carpentry, some electrical work and groundworks.
  • The ability to problem solve and offer alternative solutions
  • The ability to work to a given budget and specified time scales
  • A good knowledge of health and safety and regulation laws
  • Full UK Driving Licence
