- Maintain critical equipment through reactive, planned, and preventative activities.
- Prioritise planned & reactive work orders through guidance from Engineering Supervisor.
- Support key stakeholders within a timely & professional manner.
- Keep all records up to date through CCMS system.
- Report to Engineering Supervisor with solutions on Major & Chronic breakdowns.
- Manage on site contractors through PTW & RAMS.
- Lead problem solving & continuous improvement to boost efficiency.
- Carry out project work & installations to current UK Regulations.
- Demonstrate good housekeeping at all times.
- Make sure food hygiene and food safety standards are upheld at all times.
- Ensure smooth handovers across shifts and communicate effectively with other department members.
- Applicants should either have a strong academic track record in process engineering related discipline, or be a time served maintenance technician with process control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, Manufacturing or related Engineering discipline, or a time served Maintenance Technician with suitable experience in a production environment.
- 3-4 years of experience in ideally a food manufacturing environment.
- A proven track record in production technical processes, continuous improvement / OEE.
- Confidence in all areas of MS Office
- Experience with operating a CMMS System.
- IOSHH – would be an advantage
- Legionella – would be an advantage.
- Experience of PLCs, variable speed drives and fault-finding would be an advantage.
