Reporting to Commercial Analytics Manager, helps the business in understanding strategic phenomena and proactively recommends on suitable actions to improve company economic results. Supervise a team dedicated to the analytical and quantitative support to the business and represents UK team in cross-market collaboration and sharing of Digital insights – driving Data Enablement. Evaluation of new tools and skills required in order to evolve the Analysts and the business output, to the required level. Lead the Digital budget/forecasting process and output, secure frequent/active share out of results and recommendations to internal (Digital Store) and external (wider business) customers by meeting or mail.Key Accountabilities:Experience in an analytical role, ideally at a fast-paced e-commerce Company, and in a marketing analytics environment. An advanced level of computer skills is essential including PowerPoint, Excel and data extraction and analysis tools (ideally SAS, SQL, Python or R). Knowledge of data visualization software (Tableau) would also be beneficial. Strong knowledge and understanding of on-site analytics tools, preferably Adobe, and experience of extracting and utilizing data. High levels of analytical skills are essential to provide impactful insight, ideally with some experience of statistical modelling techniques. Confident communicator with demonstrable experience of influencing commercial teams up to, and including, director level. An ability to present analysis in a clear and concise manner, be it through presentations or other ways of their choosing.

  • Experience of process improvement and making recommendations
  • Quality and Accuracy – It is essential to have an eye for detail.
  • Understanding of the retail, analysis and research environments and marketplace best practice.
  • Excellent time management skills are required in order to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive not reactive, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident with learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Comfortable with change, things move quickly.
  • Effectively listening and understanding needs and applying persuasive skills.
  • Degree in Mathematical, Computing or Operational discipline.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
