The team you'll be working with:The Azure Data Factory Support Analyst will be responsible for undertaking support, maintenance and development tasks on the ADF and DWH estate for a large NTT DATA client in the public sector. This role will lead the service, from taking transition of the estate from the current team to helping establish a fully fleshed out service.The person playing this role will build working relationships with key client, incumbent and NTT DATA stakeholders, including other NTT DATA technical support and engineering teams.The role will report into the Service Delivery Manager for the respective NTT DATA account along with being part of the Applications Management practice.What you'll be doing:
  • Develop and maintain ADF and DWH solutions/applications
  • Perform hands-on installation, development, configuration, and troubleshooting of solutions
  • Build/maintain efficient, reusable and reliable applications
  • Identify bugs and devise resolutions to these defects
  • Work alongside to provide the client with quality solutions to complex problems
  • Work across a varied technical stack
What experience you'll bring:
  • Development & production support background with exposure to Data Warehousing at scale
  • Experience developing & supporting ETL solutions in SQL Server: MS SQL, SSIS
  • MS SQL Administration, Azure Data factory, Azure MSSQL, Azure Analysis Services
  • PowerBI and Power Automate
  • Code Review & Unit Testing, Source Control
  • Exposure to DW development practices (code & configuration management, build processes)
  • Appreciation of design patterns and practices that apply to the data warehouse space (e.g. Data Modelling)
  • Ability to take business requirements and work with other team members to estimate and design end-to-end solutions
  • Excellent data analytical skills.
  • Preferable ITIL certified, but at a minimum ITIL aware
  • In-depth experience in data warehousing concepts - ELT, Datamodelling techniques .
  • First Line, Second Line and hands-on Operational Support experience (Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfilment, etc.)
  • Development & production support of an enterprise DW environment in a large organization
  • Experienced in debugging issues, finding the root cause, and applying fixes
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of ETL from development, bug fixing, batch job monitoring.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex solutions
  • The ability to design and advocate for technical solutions to business problems.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
  • Ability to contribute to all aspects of a solution - design, infrastructure, development, testing and maintenance
  • Knowledge on SharePoint application and Azure APIs will be an added advantage.

  • Designing an Azure Data Solution DP201
  • Implementing an Azure Data Solution DP200
  • Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure DP203
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage project and service stakeholders up to a senior level with confidence.
  • Effective time management skills; with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously requiring experience with prioritizing tasks due to shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and deadline pressures.
