
Talent Acquisition Specialist/In-House Recruiter

- Experience of using applicants tracking systems, CV databases and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a confidence to communicate effectively at all levels both orally and in writing
- Able to work in an organised and methodical manner, with a high level of attention to detail
- Able to identify and drive improvements within the team and the wider company
- Manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Learn new skills and working methods and be adaptable to change
- Accept responsibility and, within parameters defined by the HR Director, work on own initiative as required
- A proactive approach to work, with a strong team working ethos
- Background of recruitment procedures and practises ideally in-house or within a recruitment consultancy
- Technically competent with the ability to pick up systems quickly
- Partnering with Recruiting Managers to clarify resourcing requirements and support the full recruitment process
- Sourcing high quality candidates and co-ordinating all aspects of the recruitment process
- Gain approval from the HR Director to initiate the Recruitment Process through a Recruitment Request
- Source candidates using CV databases, social media, job boards/ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and headhunting methods
- Create and maintain talent pipelines
- Advertise vacancies internally and externally through online job boards
- Agree the recruitment campaign/channel and expenditure with the HR Director in advance
- Adhere to KPIs and provide regular updates/reports to the HR Director
- Monitor and apply recruiting best practices
- Support supplier reviews
- Promote the company reputation, brand and employment offering
- Work with the other Talent Specialist and wider HR team to generate ideas for continuous improvement to ensure we are ahead of the curve with recruitment practice and candidate/employee satisfaction
