
Spin, Yoga and Mat Pilates Instructors

- Lead high‑energy spin classes or calming yoga/mat Pilates sessions, depending on your speciality:
- Spin classes will be a mix of Rhythm Riding and Performance, Metrics-Based classes.
- Yoga classes will be a mix of Vinyasa, Yin, and Yang to Yin.
- Pilates will be a mix of Fundamentals, Dynamic, and Sculpt (HIIT-inspired conditioning).
- Arrive early to set up (bikes/mats/music) and greet clients in a timely manner.
- Curate unique class content—music for spin, sequencing for yoga or Pilates—to engage and challenge participants.
- Champion the sustainability and wellness mission of the studio and be knowledgable about eco-friendly features exclusive to this studio eg bikes in spin studio, brand partnerships, towels and washing facilities available.
- Attend quarterly team meetings, training sessions and staff events and contribute to regular marketing campaigns with written and social media content.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that motivates and inspires class participants to reach their full potential.
- Provide clear and concise instructions, demonstrating proper exercise techniques and modifications when necessary.
- Offer encouragement, guidance, and support to participants throughout the class, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
- Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, engaging participants and keeping them motivated throughout the session.
- Monitor participants' form and technique, providing feedback and corrections as needed to prevent injuries and maximise results.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuously expand your knowledge in fitness and exercise science.
- Maintain a clean and organised workout space, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and properly stored.
- Collaborate with the Studio Management Team to develop and promote new fitness programs and initiatives.
- Nationally recognised fitness certification Level 2 or 3, plus appropriate qualification for relevant class: Indoor Cycle Qualification, Yoga 200 hours, L3 Mat Pilates.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' teaching experience, leading classes in your specialism ideally in a luxury environment.
- Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, form, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire participants.
- Flexible and reliable: available to teach during key times (early morning, evenings, weekends), with willingness to cover occasional shifts.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment where participants feel welcome and encouraged.
- High energy level and enthusiasm for fitness/wellness and helping others achieve their goals.
- First Aid certification is preferable, but not essential.
- Existing Social Media presence and engaged community is preferable, but not essential.
