CarmichaelUK are recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Cambridgeshire.As a Section Engineer, you will play a key role in managing the site engineering team, ensuring works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and lead the setting-out team from construction to completionAllocate labour, plant, and materials in liaison with the Sub Agent and Section ForemanManage performance and development of Site EngineersResolve technical issues on site in coordination with senior team membersMonitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirementsProduce programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plansContribute to financial forecasting and cost controlAbout You:HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalentWorking towards or holding professional membership (ICE preferred)Demonstrable experience in highways construction and supervisionSMSTS or SSSTSCSCS (White, White-Yellow, Black, or Gold)Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
